Grindsted stream is impacted by two major contaminated sites: Grindsted factory site and Grindsted landfill, located 1,5km and 2km north and south of the stream, respectively. Contaminant concentrations at the site have been measured in the groundwater as well as in stream, while the groundwater velocity and flow direction have been measured by 14 PVPs installed along the stream bank.
